With well executed form, kettlebells can be a highly effective tool to develop lean muscle and burn fat. However, swinging a kettlebell with poor form can leave you with back, hip or shoulder pain. I strongly encourage you to watch the “Introduction to the Kettlebell Swing” video prior to doing a full workout.
A kettlebell swing is a technically demanding hip hinge movement and must be done properly for best results. Kettlebell workouts are an incredibly efficient way to work your whole body and do wonders for that posterior chain. When I’m wanting to lose a few pounds, kettlebells are my go-to workout.
